This page is maintained by LDN Hypnobirthing and explains, in plain English, how your details are used when you send an enquiry. It reflects our obligations under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What information we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, due date (if provided), the course you are interested in and your message. We only collect information you choose to give us. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not buy personal data from third parties.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • Replying to your enquiry: consent, given when you tick the privacy box on the form.
  • Arranging and delivering your course: performance of our agreement with you.
  • Keeping financial records: legal obligation (HMRC).
  • Occasional updates: only where you have separately opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as we genuinely need it, then delete it securely.

Who can see your data

Your enquiry is read only by LDN Hypnobirthing. We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing. Your message reaches us by email, so it is handled by our email and website hosting providers acting on our behalf; they may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

  • Right of access: Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Have inaccurate details corrected.
  • Right to erasure: Ask us to delete your data where we have no legal reason to keep it.
  • Right to restrict or object: Limit how we use your data, or object to it entirely.
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing.
